
Creamy Indomie Noodle Hack
The creamiest bowl of Indomie noodles you'll ever make — elevated with tomato paste and cream cheese for an almost creamy pasta-like feel.
This is definitely the creamiest Indomie noodle recipe I've ever made. I picked up a box at my Bay Area Costco, and it truly was the perfect midnight snack. Of course, you'll have delicious results if you follow the directions on the packaging, but I like to level it up with a little bit of tomato paste and cream cheese. This gives the noodles an almost creamy pasta-like feel. You're also still using the same seasoning packs that come with the noodles, so really you're just elevating what's already there. Once the sauce is warmed, you'll add some hot water and let the noodles boil until the sauce gets nice, thick, and creamy. After a few minutes, the noodles just absorb all of that tasty flavor. Finally, top it off with some green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Creamy Indomie Noodle Hack
Ingredients
- 2 packs Indomie noodles
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 cups boiling hot water
- Sliced green onions
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cook shallot and garlic in a pan over medium heat until fragrant.
- Add tomato paste and cream cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
- Add the seasoning packs from both Indomie noodle packages and stir into the sauce.
- Pour in 2 cups of boiling hot water and bring to a simmer.
- Add the noodles and let them boil until the sauce gets nice, thick, and creamy — the noodles will absorb all of that tasty flavor after a few minutes.
- Serve in a bowl and top with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
